A Rainy Day Adventure
It was raining all morning, and Tom felt bored at home. He wanted to go outside, but his mother told him to stay in and read a book. While looking out the window, he noticed something shiny near the old tree in the garden. Curiosity took over, so he put on his raincoat and ran outside.
Under the tree, Tom found a small metal box covered in mud. He opened it carefully and saw a few coins, a key, and an old photo of two smiling children. Excited, he showed it to his mother. She looked at the photo and said, “That’s your grandfather when he was a boy!”
They cleaned the box together and decided to keep it as a family memory. The rain stopped, and Tom realized it had been a wonderful day after all — full of surprise and history.
